This site is my personal portfolio. This policy explains what information gets collected when you visit, why, and what say you have over it.
Information I collect
When you use the contact form, the coffee-chat scheduler, or the Bezo chat widget, I collect what you type in — name, email, message, and any preferred date/time or topic — solely to respond to you. I don't ask for anything beyond what a form field asks for.
Cookies and similar technologies
Essential cookies remember your theme and language and are always on — the site doesn't work well without them. Everything else — analytics that record how pages are used, and advertising cookies once ads are enabled — only runs after you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time from the link in the footer.
Analytics
I use Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless and reports aggregated traffic counts only. If you accept analytics cookies, Microsoft Clarity also runs, recording anonymized session behavior (clicks, scroll, page flow) to help me fix confusing parts of the site.
The Bezo AI assistant
Messages you send to Bezo, the chat widget, are sent to Google's Gemini API to generate a reply. I don't attach your name or contact details to those messages unless you type them into the chat yourself.
Advertising
This site may show ads served by Google AdSense. If you've accepted advertising cookies, Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your visits here and elsewhere. You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time via Google's Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com) or Google's technologies page (policies.google.com/technologies/ads), independent of this site's own cookie banner.
Who your data goes to
Contact and coffee-chat form submissions are delivered to my inbox via Resend. The site itself is hosted on Vercel. None of this data is sold, and I don't share it with anyone beyond what's needed to run these tools.
Your choices
You can withdraw cookie consent at any time from the footer link, clear your browser's local storage to reset the banner, or email me to ask what I have on file and have it deleted.
Children's privacy
This site isn't directed at children, and I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
If I change how the site collects or uses data, I'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use after a change means you've seen the update.
